Am I missing wood in this corner. Also looks like that mid, curved corner piece is mounted a little high. Maybe I need to mount it underneath the bracket? TIA!

Seat back is fine. I made a new pan for the seat bottom where the brackets locate the bottom in the original configuration, but haven’t tested it yet. One of those deals where I have to seal up the cab first to keep the animals out so they don’t shred the upholstery. The seat upholstery was already completed before I got this project and I’d like to keep in intact.

I don't have a picture of the pan installed. upload_2023-12-19_13-42-40.png

So, I ask about missing wood as I saw this picture with part #1210 (and #1211.) This '28 was a partially built project that I acquired. I have the horizontal piece as seen in my first picture, but it has a notch in it which makes me think a vertical piece is missing. I looked around the internet but couldn't find a picture that matches my model. Except, maybe, for the '30, '31 model? If I am missing a vertical piece, what is the attachment point for the lower end of it?

Yes- there's a vertical piece. Its there to support the cardboard rear side upholstery panel. Here are some pictures of mine.

    It's 24" long x 1.25" wide x 0.75" thick.
The top end has a slight bevel cut out and a wood screw attaches it to the horizontal boomerang-shaped piece, just as you mentioned.
A sheetmetal screw attaches its bottom end to the back seat pan.

Here are some construction photos that might shed some light. Unfortunately the car is inaccessible right now.
    Hope this helps.:)
