interesting, I picked up a 34 master sedan delivery body back in the early 80’s missing the rear door. Sold it about 20 years ago

Bump for the thread with this cool Canadian '57 Chevy. Posted by @jeepsterhemi on the vintage shots thread. Just a regular delivery vehicle at the time.

    Hey L,

Thanks for the nice post on Lee Bright's cool sedan delivery. It was a cool day in the shade and hot just standing in the full sun kind of day. I wore a light jacket, similar to the lightweight jacket seen in the photo. But, that portion of San Diego County is normally hot.

So, here is a "clearer" photo of the same one and finished in time for a magazine article on his build.
upload_2024-3-4_7-23-41.png As intimidating as the photo of Lee seems, he is/was one of the nicest guys in the hot rodding world. He was a big bear of a guy and looks are deceiving, so my wife said, all the way home after our photo shoot day.

    Thanks, again...

    NOTE:
Even after the accident, the sedan delivery is still around somewhere in California.

I dug out my mag stash for "Off Topic", and HAD to post this '60 Chevy by Danny Massey. Aside from a Tex Smith article on budget rodding in 3/68 RnC, I've tried to find a full feature on this wild rig for years!!! Anybody know it??? IMG_20240508_000632523.jpg

Anglia panel van; Cairns, Queensland, Oz, August 1952. This was the A54A Anglia, my book tells me. This pic is cropped from a photo held by the Mitchell Library/State Library of New South Wales, courtesy of ACP Magazines Ltd. I have included another pic of an A54A grille. (I wonder how Ford came up with these model designations.) SLNSW_FL9757016.jpg Anglia_A54A_Coupe_Utility_(8705965336).jpg
