Hello, I’m looking for some inspiration for my new project and would like to gather some photos of examples of original Deuce Sedan hot rods from the 1960’s. If you have any that you can share it would be appreciated, cheers, Dave
@daveh1932 , check out the black deuce sedan in this thread: https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/deuce-sedan-from-the-1960’s.1291854/#post-14925370
Many thanks for the contributions, much appreciated This is my new project, currently heading to the U.K. hopefully it will be tucked away in my garage early next month
It sure has, the last 2 photos are of it at the U.K. nationals when Jeff Beck owned it, very cool car
WOW! What a great tribute car! I met Phil Kendrick (the builder of the orange and then yellow) 32 Sedan right after he sold it to Jeff Beck. Phil was building a Chopped 32 pickup. Phil had a chrome shop sponsor when he had the sedan, so everything was getting chromed on the pickup too. Phil never finished the pickup and sold it. Phil did build a hand full of 32 roadsters throughout the following years. Phil p***ed away a few years back (not sure how long ago, but it was a while ago) As far as I know his wife is still alive, and has the last 32 Roadster he built. She does drive the car. Jeff Beck shipped the car back to the US, as the wet England weather didn't get along with the pearl yellow lacquer. The last time I saw the yellow sedan was at a Goodguys show in Pleasanton CA. It had a 32 gas tank put back onto it, and the lacquer paint looked like shattered gl***. I heard the car was in Fresno CA. and was going to be restored, but that was 20 years ago. I'm not sure what version it was going to be restored to. I liked the yellow version. It was called the Super Prune. The large purple prune painted on the back was all naked women. https://public.fotki.com/LOUD-PEDAL...75-years-of-the-32-ford-/dave-archer-phil-ke/
