Event Coverage Iron Lords Hotrods & Hotdogs

While we as a club still see each other weekly one thing we greatly miss is you.

We always loved having the community at our old shop and we have decided it’s long since time to create a reoccurring date and time for the community to get together.

So starting in January of 2024, we will be having Hotrods & Hotdogs at Ben’s
( @hotrodderhaag ) shop, “Bluefield Vintage “ . 3225 Bradshaw Rd Mooresville NC .

This will be the first Saturday of every month starting at 11am and going till whenever.

Bring your hotrod or bring your daily!

There will be food available, or bring a cooler and hang out.

Yea, that would be a long drive but sounds like a great time! There is a local club where I live that meets every Saturday morning for donuts and I try to make that every now and then. But, they are also mainly muscle car guys and street racers... So, not the best influences.

 

Yeah, ditto that! And you're a thousand miles closer! You never realize how big this country is until someone on the other side of it offers you free hot dogs.

 

it’s only 4 or 5 hours down! Gas up the 40 and go!

 

I work out of the Charlotte Airport. I’ll have to make that happen some time.

 

@Driver50x if I’m not mistaken you can land right at Ben’s shop. That’d be a heck of a way to show up

 

I've driven more than a hundred each way for a free hot rod hotdog.
This would be a new record, but it's on my someday todo list.

Hey Bill, did you ever go to the Slo Poks shindig when it was at Billys Park, Ridgefield area IIRC, they had free BEER and hot dogs and CARS.
When it moved to the fairgrounds they stopped offering beer, gotta say it did lose a bit of the charm.

No need to bring anything other than yourself and maybe a friend unless there is something specific you want food or drink wise.
