Hot Rods 32 roadster screen posts

    just checking in to ask if anyone can ID these 32 screen posts? The engraving could help

    ID for what? They are indeed '32 roadster / phaeton windshield posts and brackes. They look to be chopped. Are the brackets polished br***? The color is not too clear on my computer. My guess is the electric pencil numbers might be a work order/ customer number from the shop that polished them.

    Ah makes sense, electric pencil ,the bases do some age and discoloration . Yes I believe they are a 2” chop. Just my son commented on the nice quality of the pivots etc. he has seen some poor posts too in his hot rod fabrication job.

  4. I wonder if that is someones drivers license number to recover the part if stolen?

    Just a guess but I’ve seen some Vintique parts with similar markings.
