Yep. My computer wallpaper is that famous pic of Bob in a H.A.M.B. ball cap. I see him and miss him every day.
its getting cobo time, looking for bob with my room..... miss him and the ice cream. I know he is carrying on upstairs!
The Custom Car Revival is not only just about the last car show in Indianapolis, but it’s always been the best. Top quality cars and top shelf people. The highlight for me is to see Bob K, Earl Scheib, and KustomLincolnLady each year. Sometimes I get to see a few other great HAMB’ers too but I could always count on these three for sure. Bob ALWAYS told me happy birthday each year for probably 15 years running and always made me feel like the rock Star when I ran into him, even though there was no question that HE is the rock star. It was my pleasure to know him and a source of pride to have him call me friend. Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
The other day I was digging through some old PM's looking for some information and ran across one of his birthday messages. It hit me like a ton of bricks, but was a great reminder of how thoughtful he was. In a time when we could all use some positive vibes like that, his positive energy is not forgotten. Gone too soon...
The man is missed. I hosted him here in the Black Hills more than once along with all the other events we ended up at. I cherish the memories
Never met Bob, but through the power of H.A.M.B. he feels like a good companion to me. He still lives on in a lot of good stories to be told here.
I miss Bob....and Larry. All the younger hot rodders need to shut up, sit down and listen when the stories start from the older gents.
Was going through my phone contacts the other day and Bob’s number came up on my search. Can still here him holler my name when I’d drive by him at an event.... RIP Bob, we sure miss ya!

Only time I saw them race at Bonneville I saw his car parked with a pair of feet hanging over the front seat and a head under the dash. I said you better be Bob K or he's going to be pissed. He laughed and came out and talked like we knew each other for years. I found him a room the year he came to Hershey. Hard to believe it was that many year ago.
I did yesterday it was my birthday and each year going back 15 years or more, on my Birthday Bob would always send me a PM on here wishing me a happy birthday. At first we hadn’t even met, He was a genuine, all around good guy.
Bob was one of the best and he drove a six cyl powered Chevy!!! .. first class in my book. ...I still look for him at shows...
I remember reading his posts on several threads here. Always enjoyed them, I still miss his wit and wisdom.
Yep, Bob was the real deal and he is sure missed. I always enjoyed his threads here and was able to spend some time around him in person as well at multiple different events. We need more folks here like Bob K that take us along on their adventures.
