I have a '40 248 straight engine in my '37 Special, I also have the stock dual carburetor set up from a '40/41 Special. I would like to run dual exhaust on the car but because the frame is build like a battle ship it's looks to be a bit difficult. The stock "Y' pipe was altered into an "X" pipe so I am ***uming whoever had this set up must have run dual exhaust in their '40/41. I found this video on Youtube and think this is the way to go. Any pros or cons about doing it this way. I'd like to see pictures of the way other have done it.

I just started gathering parts to re***emble a 1950 special sedanette I just bought. This video is great to give me a idea to ***emble.

  3. This guy used a pair of SBC block huggers and modified them to fit. Sounded good, like a V8!

Don’t know if this qualifies- not dual exhaust - but a friend Don of mine campaigned a Buick straight 8 on the NE Iowa dirt tracks years ago, Don sold the car long ago and lost track of it. A gentleman who purchased the car restored it to its original glory, can’t post all the pics I have as I’m sure the tires and wheels are off topic Anyway enjoy and if you need to delete I understand.
