Comparing those years, the longer fender extending into the doors, ridge running through the front end/grill, and no running lights under the headlight. I believe it’s a ‘42.

 

The very cool, # 7 STRODE SPECIAL

 

1946-1948 Chevy 4 door actually. To much missing from the car to put an exact year on it from the picture.

Yeh, gonna have to look long and hard to find a nut or bolt out of place on his builds.
