Just letting all you guys in Hambland know Roothawg aka Chris was 10 ft up a ladder in his shop today and the fiberglass ladder gave way...He landed on his race car engine and broke his back at T10 also broke his shoulder and cut his head open. He is back home in a body restraint and on pain killers. Please send good thoughts his way.
Man, prayers for one of the Hamb's leading contributors, Chris is a wealth of information, it sounds like it's gonna be a long recovery. HRP
Sorry to hear of such things. My wife and I hope you have speedy recovery, and get back to your cars.
...... Hoping the damage is limited to the vertebrae, and that the spinal cord is ok. If they have sent you home it is a good sign, and this is probably the case. Take care of this properly and do as they tell you. You need a good outcome, and I am praying for exactly that.
Sorry to hear this, hoping all goes well and best wishes and thoughts to Chris. I lost my super man badge a couple of years ago falling off a ladder, a few minutes out to lunch only but got me thinking for sure.
Had one of those ladder collapsing incidents resulted in a severe concussion. Listen to your doctors more importantly do what they say. Get well soon.
Geezuzzz.... That's a grafik thought...F'.. I'm pretty sure if that happened to me, if I didn't have a phone on me it'd be a dirt nap... God bless, You/someone was able to get help... Godspeed on a quick et slip recovery..
I do ladder training for my staff every year, you need to make sure your ladders are rated for your weight. 3 points of contact at all times etc...
