    Unfortunately I've had other things that I've been putting off and needed to get done that come when building a new house/shop. Still working out of another guys shop. I have managed to get a little done that I'll start posting.

    @hotrodfab32,
    I'm particularly interested in how the steering turned out with weight on the front axle.

    What is the the C-C dimension on the Pittman arm and the length of the steering arm at the spindle?

    I think you got the visuals perfect, but how does it feel?

    Probably haven't been able to drive it to check for bump steer, but did you do the jump on the frame horns test?

    I know all about life getting in the way. I started my track roadster project 52 years ago!

    MOPAR BOX DIMS.png ARM DIMS.png The nice thing about the 24:1 ratio is it allows you to use a longer pitman so the rod stays low with the box high enough to be out of the way of your feet. It turns easy reaching in one handed. 3-1/4 turns from stop to stop. Bump steer is .35" of movement at spindle arm with 2" of suspension travel which equates to 3 deg. of wheel movement. With a 24:1 box the feedback to the steering wheel should be 1/3 of a Schroeder 8:1 box. This was modeled in CAD so I knew what I was going to end up with. Geometry is not as good as Vega or 4 bar/Mustang and has not been road tested so don't copy it and think your in good shape. I'm willing to take the chance because it's what I want.

    @hotrodfab32,
    Thanx for the reply. I was off line for several days with computer issues. You guys that do Solid Works just amaze me! Am definitely using your modifications as a guide for my own version.

    Thanx again,

    Bruce
