Have you seen her in person since it happened?
If so, I am betting you got "the look"......possibly with hands planted firmly on hips and shaking her head.
I have two daughters. I get it all the time.......;)
Happy to hear you are doing ok.

What is it they say about heights? "It's not the height that's the problem, it's the sudden stop at the bottom that hurts".

Sounds like my 4 years in college and it worked out OK for me...it will for you too.

My father-in-law would call you a "real clobber-ass"...he wasn't real good with sympathy.

    Get well my friend.

Ouch! This hurts just from reading what happened. Sending thoughts and well wishes from over here. Get well soon and listen to Mark. Pinto IFS´ are bad for your health. Better get rid of it. I heard pain meds are supposed to work stronger when backed up by a stiff drink...

Yea, I thought my list was bad. :D Anyway, once the new bionic parts are healed up, this should be no sweat to knock out in 2024. :p

Sorry to hear about what happened. Just came across this thread. Wishing him a healthy recovery. Almost fell off the roof of my garage last week after clearing off some snow when I misjudged where the ladder was. Scared the crap out of me.

When I started working at my current employment I was told I had to read a safety topic in front of all my coworkers for the morning meeting. I quickly realized everyone there was clowns so I figured I’d join the club. I told the story about the time I fell from a 50 foot ladder. How it scared the hell out of me and changed me forever. Everyone was quiet and the manager asked how badly I was injured. I told him that I’d narrowly escaped death, but only because I was barely on the bottom (first) rung when I fell. :):) On a serious note though be easy on the meds because they are highly addictive. God speed on your recovery.

Prayers and Hope for a speedy and complete recovery! I made the mistake of reading this news to my wife and I got that look, but how are we supposed to function without a ladder sometimes.
