Remind me what model those wire wheels came from? I don't believe I've seen the three line skinny whites before. Are they from an AMT parts pack?

 

The triple whites and wires are from the AMT Barris 65 Buick Riviera kit. The wires came in all versions of the kit, but only the recent re-release of the kit through Round 2 has the new, pad printed triple whites. Yeah, they're super cool, I'd like a few more sets! The knockoffs are Corvette, the kit comes with 3 bar knockoffs, I thought the 2 bar made them look more like Buick Skylarks.

 

Ah, yes! I knew I'd built something with those wheels....it would be the Riviera itself. Thanks for the reminder.....and now I'll have to get me a couple more new issues for the tires.

That car was off the charts. Like lowriders or not, the detail on this thing was CRAY-ZEE!!!

@squirrel has acquired a very solid looking 58 station wagon for his next project, I am jealous of the cars that Jim finds! Anyway I thought I should share the picture of it that he posted today.
