Selling my 1959 Ford Ranchero. I’m asking $8,000 or best offer. Only trades i would consider are a 64-66 Chevy c10 in similar condition. Located in Bakersfield CA. I have owned it for 18 months and in that time I have upgraded the following: New Champion aluminum 3 core radiator New PowerGen one wire alternator New starter New fuel tank from Bob Drake New drum brake hardware for all 4 brakes New brake lines New dual reservoir master cylinder from 67 mustang New speedway motors 22 circuit wiring harness New headlight relays for option of having LED headlights New carburetor New trim clips for the chrome side molding New 15x6 chrome smoothie wheels New diamondback cl***ic radial wide white wall tires with only 80 miles driven on them so far. Newly rebuilt original cruise-o-matic transmission from AAMCO Transmission. New battery New electric fuel pump with a hidden kill switch New water pump Rattle can paint job; satin white with metallic green roof Dummy spotlights Chrome bullet caps over the windshield wipers Repainted the dashboard gloss white New glove box New ignition switch Clean ***le, insured, and tags are up to date and due in July. cons: Rusted out floor boards on driver and p***enger side, the spare wheel well is also rusted out, and quarter panels too. I do not own a welder, nor do I know how to weld. Two floor pans are 300 dollars from ecklers, and some carpet is another 200 online too. Not a whole lot to get the interior looking tip top Possible missing tooth on flywheel. On two occasions after driving it, it has not started back up and made a screeching sound as if the starter didn’t engage. Turned engine over by hand with socket wrench to move it off that spot on the flywheel and it started up normally. Idles high after driving it for a bit; carb will need a tune. No electric or manual choke is connected Fuel gauge is not wired up, or temperature. But the wires are there and temp sending unit too. Oil drip spots in my garage after it sits for a while. Not big puddles but there is a leak. The cost of the rebuilt transmission and the tires and wheels are almost 10k alone. It just needs some minor TLC. I have side mirrors for it and lowering blocks and Aerostar coils that I can add in as well if you’d like to lower it. It’s stock height right now. I have videos on YouTube and plenty of photos if interested. Local pickup would be best, but I'm open for discussion as far as how to get it to you. Thanks fellas
