hey ya'll back working on the 51 victoria and i'm not having any luck finding a fan for my 8BA truck engine.
considering going with a electric set up but clearance is a issue.
my question is it looks like i can just remove the fan pulley and gain a bunch of room. i've attached a photo of what i have. thanks for any and all info.

Will this work? It's a wide belt.

I have a n 18" 6 blade fan to fit your hub. Excellent condition, but these make a tremendous amount of noise. Might have a 4 blade one, too. I also have a 16" electric fan, 12 volt, near new. If seriously interested, leave me a private message.

I've got the same setup as you. And I'm running the 6 blade 18 inch truck fan and it is noisy as hell , but my car is quiet. I'm currently trying to adapt other common 4 blade fans. And yes, you can remove that hub completely and gain room from an electric fan if you like but that is my last resort.

Why not get the correct car water pumps and generator or pulley and car fan and make it all right with narrow belts?

All you need is a blade with 8 holes like the one below. They are for sale on fleebay all the time.
You would be nuts to go electric. That's all correct original stuff you got there. The only thing missing is the blade itself. Where are you located, I might have a free one.

Do it right, a full time electric fan is loud and obnoxious.

That 4 blade fan picture would be great. the one that I had was a 4 blade also but was pointy on the ends. And it didn't pull any air so try to avoid that 1 I probably have a picture at work. I'll post up later.
