    Hoooooooray!!!!!!!!!!

I got Clarence home last night and took some pix this afternoon. 'Bout froze my hands taking pix though. It's been 5 1/2 years since I was driving Clarence. It's been at various shops (or waiting on shops) all that time. I believe that the actual work took about 1-2 years.

For those of you who aren't familiar with Clarence here's some info:
    • 1948 Ford 1/2 ton panel truck
    • I bought it in February of 1973
    • Paid $75 dollars for it and drove it for many years with the flathead V-8
    • In 1992 replaced the 239 flathead with a 1966 283 Chevy that came out of an Impala that my grandmother bought new
    • At the same time we installed a T-350 trans; 8" Ford rear; Aspen/Volare front suspension; and some other minor mods
    • In 2015 the 283 was replaced with a GM crate 350 and trans/rear/brakes/etc were rebuilt
    • In 2018 I wanted the rotted/rusted floors replaced and took it to a very good fabricator for the work. One thing led to another and the plan snowballed into what you see in these pix
    • For wheels I'm leaning towards polished 5-spoke Americans
    • Now Sherry and I plan to rack up the miles in great quantities
Thanx for looking and stay warm.

The color is Washington Blue, the same that Ford used in the late 30's. I've liked that blue all my life.

Sherry gets all credit for the interior. She and Jeffrey (the upholstery guru) made all these decisions without any interference from me.

That's one of my favorite colors too, beautiful sedan delivery. Sherry did a wonderful job, will that keep you from driving it now?

Looks great! Love Washington Blue, and the interior compliments well. Lotta room in there for stuff.

The little car certainly was deserving of a makeover. Nice work, love the Wershington Blue.
