I'm saving that in the hope that I run across one some day and also for general knowledge on dual coil distributors. The last section says it all.

It occurred to me this morning that maybe someone could 3D print rotors for the old W&H DuCoil distributors. Even a blank made of an insulative material that we could add the brass and carbon contacts to. I know that there's a wide variety of talent here, anyone familiar enough with 3D printing to know if it's possible?
I woke up thinking of whittling one out of a chunk of phenolic. I know, that's crazy....

  6. Interesting thought. How much do NOS or nice used original sell for if you can find them?
    Cheers.

Some of the firing orders are wrong.

I seen them go for $40 and I’ve seen them on eBay for $200-$400. No idea if the high dollar ones really sold for that much.
I hope someone thinks that the 3D printer idea is worth looking into. Even if it’s just the basic body of the rotor.

    Why are they wrong?
You do know these fire off both ends of the rotor so the next cylinder to fire is 225 degrees around the cap from the previous one.
