Wanna go with a full black interior but my bench seat and door panels are too nice to not use it.
I colored leather before but on the bottom of the bench doors and kick board there is some carpet.
I bought some carpet paint rattle can and sprayed it on.
Turned out nice, maybe one more layer tomorrow when fully dry.

Wow! Glad found this thread...very inspiring .

Now what are you going to do with the sun visor? You know that they are “not cool” as we all learned on another thread. LOL

Fender fitment check , had to roll it outside to check the lines.
Happy how it turned out, now some final tweaking and get it ready for paint.

Whatever it takes. The last painting I did was on a gravel parking lot. With some prep and good weather, it still turned out nice. A real paint booth is great, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.

Not everyone is gonna like this but i do .
No i don’t own a shop and this is not a real barnfind or survivor but had to try some logo and fauxtina paint………yes it’s fake but i dont have 60 years to wait for it

I made a template and didn’t like the look of just the white on the black paint :

Things will be slow for the time coming , last Friday night a fire that started at the neighbor destroyed my shop.
I was able to save the coupe , my roadster and two bikes , the rest is lost.
Many years of hoarding parts for this and next projects plus al my tools are gone in minutes , the fire grew so fast we could not save anything more.
In the second pic you can see my 34 Plymouth that would be my next project.

Heartbreaking to hear that. Glad you're safe, and that you were able to save at least a little, but still, terrible news.

Insurance is al handled but to get green light for the rebuild of the shop is taking sooo long because of bureaucratic********* of the local authority.
We are hoping to finally start building in the next months so end of summer i can finally get back to the hobby.
