Better refer to the guy that posted after you. Looks like your information is incorrect. This guy IS the expert when it comes to brakes. I've always relied on his expertise when I've had a question about brakes.

OK so the chart dbradley posted, for the underfloor MC, wow I totally would have read that wrong if treb 11 hadn't pointed out where that rod is!

But with that pic that someguy just posted, outlet nearest the flange is going to the front?!?

    I hate cars.

Feast your eyes on this chart! MPBrakes shows a dozen or so master cylinders and which out is front and which rear, and there sure ain't just one answer for all! Looking at the master cylinder in question(disc/disc), according to this chart sure enough the closest one to the flange is for the rear, which appears to be opposite how the masters with one reservoir obviously larger than the other are plumbed.

Yes, I know it's an old thread (but I had the same question), still I wanted to p*** this along from MP Brakes:

Good Morning! Thank you for contacting Master Power Brakes! Happy to help. So on the corvette style master cylinder the front port (furthest from the mounting flange) will be for the front brakes and the rear port will go to the rear brakes. I hope this helps and if I can help further or answer any questions please let me know!
    Thanks,

    My Original Question:
Which port is to the front brakes on the Corvette Master Cylinder included with your kit?
I know the large reservoir is for the front brakes, and that the large reservoir is usually in the rear (closest to the mount).
On the Corvette master the large reservoir is in the front.
I also know the rear reservoir is usually considered the primary and is closest mechanically to the pedal for faster reaction and push through, so it's normally for the front brakes.
The installation instructions show the reservoir in the front (furthest from the mount) is to the front brakes.

    from TX

I went through this myself with my ot chebby truck that has disk front drums rear.
The largest reservoir in the mc is for the front disk brakes. The disk are larger and need more fluid then the drum brakes with a slave cylinder.

So that is my answer .... on my 1991 truck the large reservoir is in the rear of the mc and operates the front disk brakes.
The small reservoir in the front works the rear drums.

Same time I just installed a 1991 Toyota Camry MC in my 1949 dodge. It bolts right in and is a 2 stage.
It has a singe reservoir that feeds front & rear .... so go figure?

Pretty sure this master cylinder states the front port is for the rear and the rear is for the front.
