I have two pair of inner door latch arm ***emblies, and I'm stumped (partially) to what they fit. The short-armed ones are just about identical to the ones on my '37 Tudor sedan, save for the extra tab at the slot where it hooks on the actual latch. Those look to be the same for '37-9 ('40 has a bend in the arm). I think Merc had the tabs. The second pair are considerably longer, and there is no slot at the end. For arguments sake, the known '37 arms are 18 1/4" from center of the slot to the rivet.; the others are just about 3" longer. What say you?
I could be wrong but if my memory serves me right my 46 long door coupe had the long ones that you show.
And they could also be non-Ford. I’ve seen other makes with the exact looking linkages. The same supplier probably fed Ford and who knows how many other brands. I know some certain hood hold down hooks that were used by Ford, Chrysler, and big military vehicles. The cross pollination probably happened more than we realize.
I didn't measure them, but they sure look like the door latch arms on my 49 Dodge pickup, and they looked nearly the same as the door latch arms on my 39 Dodge pickup. I don't believe the design was limited to just Ford, and I don't believe it was limited to just 30s & 40s vehicles.
Forgot about the “long doors”. I think the ends would be a big clue. As for a pick up, I would suspect they are longer than needed. The mounting flange is also dead on for the “known” ***embly.
