Some of those old plastic cars looked great. Others not so much, and some looked ok. That one looks ok, but I think he is doing the car a disservice by not using the ch***is that was with the car. But it’s his car, his money and his to do with what he wants.
Interesting car, I’m glad that they rescued it. That ch***is looks like it would add to the build, I wonder why they aren’t using it.
A very pretty design, glad to know it's under restoration. I agree with others though, why is it not using its original ch***is? Usually, that is a harbinger of other changes ahead, which would be a shame.
Geoff (@G. Hacker) - Could you please elaborate on why (other than the "galvanized fence post rollbar") that they decided to use a mid-'80s G-Body ch***is . . . vice "restore" the original ch***is . . . ??? I think I know the obvious answer . . . but didn't want to speculate. - "Inquiring minds on the H.A.M.B. want to know"
Same reason all the TV clowns say, "Everything you brought us is junk. Call Art Morrison and have them send a ch***is. Call Gearstar and have them send a transmisson. Call (whoever is paying the most this month) and have them send us a custom LS crate motor." jack vines
