I’ve got special hangers on my shop pegboard for all my failed attempts!! Mangled fuel and brake lines I think I can reuse on another project “someday”.

    I use these-

I have a couple of the cheaper benders around, a few different styles, but these seem to do the best. But they don’t work any better than the fool using them! :)

I like making up hard lines, and getting them looking good. But it seems like occasionally I get one that's absolutely perfect for me, and then realize I forgot to slip the tubing nut over the line.

No I picked up the fittings from them. Bender is a standard off the shelf one. Fittings are standard jic, and they require a flair. A hydraulic shop has them all

Lacking a tube bender, try filling the tube with fine sand and bend it around an appropriately sized piece of pipe or rod. I just use 60 grit sand that I use in the sand blaster. Try it, it works nicely. After bending, don't forget to clean out the inside. Blow it out with air, then run soap and water through it and blow it out again.

That’s what I thought too, but I couldn’t get the look I was aiming for IMG_4858.jpeg

I used the tubing bender by ECI Engineering. A little pricey, but if you are doing a lot of bends and need to copy a line, it is worth it in my opinion.

Easy to work with. I won’t use anything else now.
