    looks like i'm going the beer keg route with mine and i'm on the lookout for period pix for inspiration. this one i think is c. 1965.

    I'm thinkin' that stars an' stripes peace sticker came out in '69er'70.. I could be wrong...

    Also, the plate appears to be a Blue/Yellow (1970) and is personalized (also 1970).

    you guys are spot on about the sticker. in hindsight i had shared another picture on social media that i was told was taken in '65 and i just mixed them up.

    Now that the real car has been restored, one of those “really close” clone cars would be cool to see made to this version

  12. The July, 1963 issue of PHR had a six-page feature on building a full-scale version of the Big T:

    (I always felt that this version looked like it was running uphill...the front end could've gotten a two-inch drop.)

    AHA! I thought I remembered seeing that "T" at Indy. in 1964 or 1965. I think I remember it being a different color, maybe turquoise or light green.

  30. I know Rick Thompson's T roadster has showed up in this thread, but not these shots from the September, 1965 issue of Modern Rod Magazine. What a cool car.
