I know I said a couple years ago I would post pics of my 34 Ford truck and have not. But I have moved forward with it. I'm hoping I can get some ideas on tire and wheel sizes that will fit inside the stock fenders. Going to order US wheel artillery's here this week. Thanks.

Can anyone add to this? Looks like the rear fender has 10" of total space. 58" axle. Just not sure how far up into the fender the tire will end up.

On this avatar 34 there are 14” WW tires. Front 185-75-14 ,24.9”height, 7.3” width, 5.4” wall.
Rear tires are 225-70R-14, 26.4”height, 8.9” width, 6.2” wall. Not traditional, and sizes are not available anymore, but I can get close with available 14”sizes.
It’s running an early 70’s Chevy V-8 rear. Backing plates 53.25 width, outside drums 60.25 width.
Rear wheels rims backspace 3.5”, Rim width 6”.

    5:60-15 & 8:20-15 or 165/80R15 & 215/85R16
Either of these combos will fill the wheel wells nicely if lowered.

Nobody can tell you what size tire and wheel will fit on your truck. They can say what fits theirs. Many variables to height (spring sag) and wheel offset (orig width axles and/or brakes?) exist from car to car. You will need to measure to determine what wheel offset you need to order then grab a tire chart and see what diameter and width will fit without rubbing.
It has gotten easier to take the measurements in recent years - https://www.speedwaymotors.com/5-Lu...q6_xjXmIBNosf1Wo_-0tY-mR2krsZCTMaAn2SEALw_wcB

Great info guys! Very helpful. I can add that I have a 9" axle that is 58" wide axle shaft face to face. I wanted to use artillery wheels but the backspace offered by US Wheel is not enough for the rear. I can run their 6" x 15" upfront but the rear 7" with its 4.25" backspace is gonna push out about an inch too far. The only other manufacture I can find is Early Wheel Company but they seem to be out of biz which ****s as they had custom backspacing. Anyone know of other sources for artillery's?
