Technical Compression / TDC Questions

    You got a lot of good info. But to evaluate an engine that does not have a starter hooked to it, you need to use a cylinder leak down tester. Better info than a compression tester in my opinion anyway. You rotate each cylinder to TDC valves closed and pressurize the cylinder tool measures how much air leaks off. When I build an engine, I leak it on the stand before installing just to check my work.
