Event Coverage GNRS 2024 Live From Pomona

I've also been looking at a FB post with GNRS pix and saw this:

Haven't I seen this car on the hamb sometime in the past? It just "does it" for me; '28/9 roadster, '32 frame rails, color, nailhead, chrome wheels, cheater slicks, etc., etc.

Hopefully more pix of this car will show up here. Or maybe a hamber owns it or built it.

 

The AMBR gets all the attention, but there are awards given to other cars in many different classes, is there a list of these winners once the show is over?

To add a little to this car (and the wifes sedan), it gets driven all over SoCal, as long as it's not raining !

I got out of town yesterday.....I don't like floods.

 

The rusty tub open car reminds me of the show "The Real McCoys". It aired from 57 to 64 and I watch it on the classic tv channels that are out now.

 

Classic show! I can't remember, did Amos drive a tub?

Tom, this last batch was simply stunning coverage!
After all the $h/t&bs reactions surrounding the AMBR contenders, it's quite refreshing to finally just enjoy getting to the real meat and potatoes of this iconic show.
It just hit me, you know it's good when you are blown away by cars that are in a category of cars that you normally wouldn't pay a lot of attention to.
Here is an example of pure class, and look at that color combination, it's perfect, one could expect to see it on the grass at Pebble Beach.
As always, your photo coverage is transformational, like being there in real time.
