I love the Uncertain-T, but I wouldn't want a damned thing to do with it after all the drama that has swirled around it since it debuted sixty years ago. Good grief.

  5. Hi badshifter. You wrote that you met me before I was on Facebook. I don't recognize you from your ID photo, so please refresh my memory. What's your name, and when and where did we meet?

    Thank you

Careful Steve, lots of members on here eat meat and have leather seats in their rods...

  10. Let me help you with your dilemma ...

Clearly, taking pictures by either of you was not in breach of the NDA as long as the pictures were kept private until AFTER the buyer has publicly released the information regarding the "discovery" of the car.

For whatever reason, the buyer clearly wanted to control the public release of information as they are the ones who are PAYING FOR THE CAR and have BIG plans for the car ... debut it in unrestored condition, create a documentary of the "find", history and restoration of the car as well as their intent to display the car at their museum. Toss in the expected magazine coverage as well. Being that it is the buyer who will benefit from the NDA and the one who most likely requested the NDA in the first place, THEY have the right to release the information to any one person or group of people at any time IF they choose to. Obviously the buyer trusted Badshifter enough to invite him to participate in the retrieval/purchase of the car.

YOU broke the NDA when you forwarded the pics you took to your plumber who then forwarded them to someone else

YOU also possibly broke the NDA when you "hinted at things to come" here on this site ... o_O

Off the top of my head, I can only come up with two things in the NDA that the seller might possibly request ... not releasing his name to the public (it has been so that's out) and the selling price.

I have yet to read anywhere about Badshifter sending anyone pics before the public release of information ...

so he won’t let us know about the release of the documentary? Dang. I really wanted to know how the care taker of it “knew folks were getting close” and had to move it.
The car…eh, fun to look at, but nothing I think I would think about having.
