What is the best electric wiper motor for an Orignal 32 5 window ?

Based on your experiences I guess I better contact Newport again. Is there any special things that I need to know before I order a system. Our son fitted a Newport system into his 55 Olds and was pleased with it.
With our lousy dollar at present plus shipping what you consider pricey will be extra pricey when it lands here.

 

Gary, is it a special order? The web site shows one for a stock or Brookville 3W, but I didn't see a 5W/Sedan. Is it one and the same? Thanks!

 

Go figure, we've come back around to Newport, sounds a little familiar.

 

Go with the mighty wiper, bolted in my 5 window, run the wire down the vacuum tube put switch any place you want.

 

I know this is an old thread, but I am wondering what guys are doing now? I have a 32 tudor sedan with some wiper motor out of a late model...doesn't fit behind the header and I want to put a nice header panel on and hide the motor. I called Newport engineering and they are no longer making any wiper motors for 32 fords....of any body style. The Mighty wiper has also stopped being made. All I can find are the cheap ass units from speedway etc that don't fit behind the head panel.

What's everyone doing now? Thanks

 

Are you sure Mighty Wiper is no longer available? Their website is still up.

 

Yep..100% sure. They still make wipers….but not for 32 fords. And not the mighty wiper that fits them. I called SoCal looking for one and was told they stopped making them and only focus on mid 50’s now

 

I use mighty wiper a rain X. The wiper gets slow around 55. So the rain x takes over.

 

So a little more clarification…mighty wiper will still make them for 32 fords….however, they are on back order and are really far behind in producing them. So they aren’t taking any orders until the back orders are filled. Which could be a while.

so anyone know of a decent alternative?
