You would probably have to French them. I have a 51 Fleetline . The rear fenders have very few flat spots which a 54 Chevy tail light iscompletely flat.
    good luck

  3. Guess you could turn them sideways and mount under trunk lid

Thanks for the reply. I would not put them on the tail pan.

  6. My opinion you could find a better light. The 54 is nice but my opinion is it will not look good in your chevy. Maybe early vette?

55 tail lights would be easier . I'm thinking you need to look at some customs for ideas.

Yes, I seen those. They look great. They look nice too with the fender headlight mod but for now just looking for ideas packard tail lights would look great too but they’re kind of pricey and hard to come by

  15. Dunno if interested but when I get around to putting the correct front bumper on my 53 I'll have a decent rechromed 49-52 Chevy front bumper to fit that left over

I love the way your front end sits. How much did you drop it to get that stance? I'd love my 51 to sit like that in the front and just a touch higher in the back to give it some rake. :)

go on the Photo shop thread and see what they can do. Sadly, I had rear quarters I saved of a 54 hardtop that I parted out 20 years ago for a possible use on something. took them to Jefferson for years and had no takers, finally tossed them last fall. I am just outside of Wisconsin Dells, never fails, you save it for ever and them toss it and then fined a use for it, I actually have 54 chevy Lee custom lenses. frenched into my 51 Merc. 20220817_132245.jpg

I was at Jefferson last fall. I’m actually only 45 minutes away and I live in Waukesha.
I know what you mean you hang out the stuff for so long and then eventually you toss it cause you end up collecting a bunch of crap and nobody wants and you end up running out of space to store your own good junk lol

I’ve posted this else where. We reshaped the rear fenders to match an O/T tail light. A crap load of work but worth it in my humble opinion IMG_2166.jpeg

not exactly what you want but the idea is the same. you'll have to graft a section of the 54 fender + the lights like this buick piece has been done. P.S. i stole this pic from the web. 53chev.jpg

@RICKY~RICARDO nice project, Love the 49-52 hartops. These are Fleetlines but should give you an idea of how it'll look. I used Mopar lights in our 52.

Thanks I think that looks great. In my honest opinion post a picture of your Mopar lights. I’d like to see it. Thanks for posting.
