    hey ya'll.
    working on my 51 vicky with a 8BA and 3spd B.W O.D.
trying to get it wired and working on the ignition circuit.
because this is something i've never done, i'm using a diagram that i found in vern tardel's book on building a model A hot rod. it looks simple but i have a issue that i need some help with.
i've attached 2 pics that show the diagram and the back of my ignition key switch. according to the diagram, i should wind up with 3 wires that go to the switch, it shows a start ****on but i'm just using the key.
my question is what wire goes to which pole on the switch?
also, there are 4 poles on the switch. do i need to run another wire for the acc. pole?
    thanks for any input.

    BATT POLE-goes to +battery
IGN POLE-to coil or resistor if using a resistor to the coil
ST POLE- to starter relay, or starter solenoid.

    ...

  3. The accessory terminal becomes live when the key is turned to that position. You don't need to run anything off there unless you want to.

  4. To avoid engine run on , I would wire the ignition to the ign terminal and then anything you want switched power to the acc terminal. Anything that you want hot all the time…like headlights hook to the bat terminal . Use fuses of course
