Projects Rear spring toque ?

    IMG_4547.jpeg Can’t seem to find any info on torquing down rear spring! Any ideas…

    If you are referring to a u-bolt with nut then use the published values for the bolt size. Over torquing can distort threads or even stretch the bolt causing damage.

    Ford didnt use a torque wrench till the mid 30s.. tight will do

    Thanks for all the replies I’ve got so many Manuel’s and not one mentions the sequence or tightness ? I’ll turn them down tight. Good day.
     
  9. Snugged down enough to get the cotter pin inserted. Done.
