How do you tell 65 from 66 from 67?

 

From that angle, the front fenders are 63/64 style with no dorsal fin, the, hood is 67 design.


65/66 had the wider dorsal fin




67 had the narrow dorsal fin

 

67 has quite a few differences. 65 and 66 are a little harder. Externally, hubcaps, seat patrerns if it's original. 65 coupe had vents behind the door, 66 does not. Convertibles are tougher but several minor differences.

 

A 1966 has an emblem on the hood, a 1965 does not. The gas door lids are different also.

 

Grille in '65 is mostly black, '66 and '67 is bare aluminum. Rear emblem on '65 is like '63 and '64, slanted script. '67 has center rectangular backup light.
