Hello, Can someone tell me whether I need a tube for the standard 15x5 inch rim for my 1954 Dodge? Do the rims have these humps so that the tire doesn't slip off the rim? I'm currently driving Coker Bias ply tires without a tube and it works quite well.

Rims that need a tube will be identified by the rivets holding the two pieces together.

I've got a bunch of those wheels that came with my trailer that are run tubeless. I don't know what exact year they are but the spindles. hubs and brakes are early 50's Mopar. Trailer is homemade that was built in a highschool AG shop originally.

Never in 60+ years of playing with cars have I had a riveted wheel leak around the rivets using a tubeless tire.
