    Hi everyone,

I'm putting together F1 backing plates/ drums with Ford p*** car 46-48 spindles.
Any idea which bolts and nuts should I get and where to get them from ?

    Thanks for any help !!

Don't think you need or originals were/are grade 8 but it wouldn't hurt. Any old Ford parts supplier would have them, probably Macs, Rock auto, summit, speedway...

Originals look like the pic below. The square head fits against a ridge on the spindle to keep it from turning. Plus the shoulder makes it a tight fit. I would try to get some originals. Shouldn't be too hard to find. Also these bolts have a hole for a cotter pin to be used with a castellated nut.

    Cool, thanks guys.
Is it worth getting those originals ? Or will other bolts with the right measurements do the job just as goos or even better ?

The square head is there to stop the bolt from turning when you tighten the nut. Get them. JMO
