Glide Engineering offers frames as well as padding and arm rest options but you would still need to add upholstery. Custom Seats by Glide | Automotive Seats | Glide Engineering, Inc.
I went the Glide route. Bought original style materials to have it covered. Your best bet would be to have one drop shipped to your local upholstery shop for them to finish.
When I bought the Glide seat for my '39 p/u the guy doing the upholstery wanted to use his own foam not the stuff from Glide.
No idea on the quality but Wiseguys offer upholstered bench seats. https://www.wiseguys-seats.com/product-category/upholstered-seating/
Being that the front of that seat doesn't appear level where the thigh support is , Id think it would be uncomfortable ?
I used a Wise Guys seat in the Dearborn Deuce I built when they first came out, bought it upholstered in Black leather and the quality was good. I checked them out at Louisville a year or two ago and was a little disappointed in the upholstery work I just finished a chopped deuce highboy sedan and for the second time used a leather covered Tea's seat. Not very traditional looking but dam comfortable. Had the rest of the interior covered in matching leather. 20+ years ago the upholstery shop I've used for almost 40 years told me if I wanted to use Glide seats to go else wear. I did build several 32 coupe style seats out of plywood which worked well. That type of seat gives the upholstery shop some lea way shaping the cushions out of just foam over seats with springs.
Its what I do. Past builds included a Courier pickup - sectioned to fit my Anglia sedan and it has a fold-forward seat back and sectioned Ranger seat for my Willys coupe. and O/T Minivan third seat for another Anglia, non narrowed.
They reproduce the old Jeep CJ rear bench seats. Might work well for a Coupe or Roadster. They are pretty plain styling wise and wouldn't look out of place https://www.quadratec.com/p/rugged-ridge/fixed-vinyl-rear-seat-cj-yj
My guy did a nice job on the Glide. He's been in the business over 50 years and has his opinion's and I need to respect them. At that time he could pick and chose his jobs. He's done around 25 cars and a couple trucks for me. Even though he is retired he still does work for me on occasion. I've never asked him for a price or put him on the clock. He has always delivered on time and I always give him a hefty tip when I pay my bill. A tip on top of the bill helps the next time I need a job done.
To add to the list: https://www.snowdenseats.com/snowden-custom-seat-store/Snowden-Custom-Bench-Seats-c122429019 But I want to add something to this. With age what you can tolerate is far different than when you were young. Buying a seat without having sat in it for an extended period of time may end in buyer's remorse. Buying an oem seat that you know you can sit in and then modify is a safe bet in many ways. I have to drive 4 hours to most car shows so the seat is very important. The TMI stuff is very popular know. It's available and very compe***ive in price. I had the privilege of sitting in one a few years ago at a car show. I knew in a few seconds that the foam was too hard for me. I'm aware that I can be the odd man out here. Shop wisely on anything to do with creature comfort.
Those Snowden seats look really good and are priced right. I'm ***uming there's a large ***ortment of materials?
The material ***ortment is not as robust as I would like. It would be nice if they had more cloth offerings.
You are going to be pretty hard pressed to find pre upholstered seats with a huge selection of materials, especially cloth.
