Art & Inspiration Flatheads of a different scale

    No connection. I see these because I once bought a (cheaper) engine from them. Pretty cool, if you ask me. The 4 cylinder looks to have 8 ports, in the block. The V8 looks to have the ports in the heads. I don't know if the V8 is actually out yet. The 4 cylinder sounds neat.

    You kind of have to hand it to them for even building these. Somebody has to build a FED around one for cacklefests.

    You have to admit these are pretty cool and a lot of work in building one on this scale!!

    I have a "Model Craft" book from the '50's that has several model engines in it. You would buy raw castings, then machine and****emble the pieces. One was a 4 cyl. flathead. I saw an overhead valve version of this engine in another book, but don't have in in my stash.

    I set up with***** Santana at the Hot August Nights swap meet and get a lot of interest and gas money for starting the smallblock and showing some of my other creations.
