FEEA1C95-3399-45DB-A072-61F2DCAD97A3.jpeg I’m using a 1941 Ford car rear ended in my ‘32 ford. I see some stamping on the bottom of it. Hard to tell but looks like something-34. Anyone know what ratio was used in 1941?

Depending on what it came out of it 8-34= 4:25 truck ? it does look like a 9 so 3:77 and more common in early ford

34 ring gear teeth. 9 pinion gear teeth, so the ratio is 3.78:1.

That's the original ratio. That being said, it's worth checking (if you are after a certain ratio) because after 80 years parts tend to get swapped out.
