Customs What did they come from?

I am needing to identify these, I think they are olds or pontiac, I want to use them on my 49 merc but the passenger side one has a damaged spot that is worn through. Thanks Jack

I cant seem to find a pic of those on a 56 chev.

 

'56 Chevy 210/150 sedans and '57 150. '56 210 hardtop looks really similar but is shorter.
