Oh man you really need the stock bumper einds, nothin cooler than the exhaust exiting through them. Cool car by the way.

  3. Ditto man. Ya gotta keep the stock rear bumper. Isn't that the one that was on evil-bay a short while ago?

Yep..thats the one hoboy..turned out to be a local guy who lost his storage... he ended up dropping the price majorly so I picked it up for a steal!!!

The caddy is pretty clean just needs to played with a little ..been in storage since 1982:D ...

I want the original bumper ends but havent found any yet..

Plan was to put on a temporary rear bumper setup until I found the 54 bumper ends.

Any ideas where to find some ends????

Keep searching, they will show up.

Nothing tops off a custom rear bumper better than having the exhaust exit through the bumper. And Cadillac did this from the factory for us!

Yes, these are a bit tough to come by because so many of the corners rotted out due to acidic condensation from the exhaust gases. But, keep searching, they are out there.

Expect to pay $500.00 a side when you do find them (usable- as is)- I bought one about 15 yrs. ago for $350.00 (helluva deal) With 12 yrs. gone by and still no right side, I sent the rotted one I had out with the rest chrome and AIH in Debuke IA repaired it (pricey) You can't tell it underwent extensive reconstruction unless you look at the backside. There was a guy somewhere who was reproducing the things in br*** to be plated at your own additional expense, but that was some time ago, and don't know about now. If you decide to step up, AllCads in CA should be able to fix 'ya up w/ originals.(There goes the "deal" you got on the car) In my opinion, anything but the original complete bumper will look 1/2 ***ed- my '54 STILL looks cool to me after lookin' at it all these years...
