Art & Inspiration T coupe paint revamp

I’ve owned this car a long time, and most of its life it was gray primer, then a friend painted it a gray green hue color and it’s been like that for several years. Well, the Clear was started to look a bit dingey so I was gonna give it a quick re clear but thought maybe I’ll jazz it up a bit. I wanted to paint flames but I tapped out a few and never liked them so I went with some scallops. Job isn’t finished I need to sand the scallops and then clear the whole car but thought I’d share.

 

I think Larry Watson would approve.

 

What make and size are those rear tires? I kind of like them!

I saw the first big pic and then read you wanted to put flames on it and thought “you can’t do that the scallops look fab!”

 

31x10.5 15 I think it’s Tornell.
The car used to get raced allot so I was looking for a tall tire to cut the gear a little and wasn’t a slick that didn’t break the bank. That looked kinda sorta a little like a big old style tire.
