Me standing next my dad’s custom 65 after it was crashed because of bad brakes. He bought it wrecked and put it back stock. I loved the look with the pinstriped flames, fender flares, slots, etc. and wish he would have just left it custom.
I guess this counts as custom. It's next impossible to get a picture of it, this is the best I could find.
Anyone have any information about this Corvette? It was in a movie "Drag Strip Riot" in 1958. There was a club of teenagers that all drove cool Vettes. It really isn't a half bad movie to boot!
One of the best. They have taken a nice style and "enhanced" it. Stance is great. Sometimes less is better.
I think Corvettes look pretty good stock. My opinion is that most custom Corvette work ends up looking cartoonish instead of an improvement. You know, like a Buick Riviera....it's really hard to improve the looks. I did find this one interesting though.
Compound W won't get rid of that "wart" on the hood. I will give him credit for the Magnesium Halibrand Sebring wheels.
Great collection of modified 'vettes. I will say that this thread once again shows how often Watson hit it out of the park with his work.
