Years back I had a job that we got paid on the first and the 15th of the month. Hated leap year, we had to wait an extra day for the paycheck! But now I wish I was born on 2/29. I’d still be a teenager
I tried to get the wife to get married on this date, she said no. My thought was I would only have to buy anniversary gifts once every 4 yrs !! She figured it out quickly though. My oldest son gave me praise for coming up with such a "great" idea. .
I told her it might not be something either one of us wanted to be reminded of too often , she agreed !
I got drafted in 1971. 1972 was a leap year. Pissed me off that I had to serve an extra day thanks to the extra day in February
My son's birthday today. We tease him about only being 9 years old! He sure loves the old cars! Larry
The calendar on my watch is trying to tell me today is March 1st. Guess its the price I pay for the cheap digital watches. The worst at is that I have to reset it tomorrow. I live such a sheltered life.....
