    OK, judging by some of the comments on this thread, this should scare a few of you. It scared the engineer until he did some calculations... then he said "go for it"

    I did mine the same way with the spring perch through the bones. I really dig your car.

    What are you running for a grille shell with that? Did you channel your body too? would like to see a pic showing the relationship of all that to your grille shell if you have one.

    we drilled all the way thru the bone, chamfered the hole then ran the perch all the way thru. welded both sides and ground the excess off.almost two years-lotta miles and no signs of wear.

  12. i have these same bones for my project.(mid late 40's)is there a reason more people dont use these?
