Maybe I’m just unaware, but it seems like not much in the way of hot rod get togethers happen anywhere near me. With that said, I’m wanting to have an event in South Carolina this coming fall or next spring. Just trying to gauge interest so I know what to plan for. I’m wanting to do a camp out/hang out. Not a show necessarily. If anyone is interested please let me know. If no one is I’ll just hang out in my yard like I do most other weekends of the year

o_OLemme see! You've got Carolina Dragway right there in your backyard. You've got multiple car clubs within a 150-mile radius of you. Maybe you could arrange something like Lloydfest with the track management? Just sayin'.

Edit: How big is your backyard?

My back yard is small. The front yard is big though. I’ve always heard that steel in motion is kinda more “Kulture” than I’m probably interested in. A buddy of mine an have had plans to go and not made it for about eight years. Alan, you are more than welcome to camp out in my yard anytime Brother.

Look up the LLoydefest thread here and see what you might be getting into.

Sounds fun. Have been thinking similarly lately. Most of what u see here in MB are late models, street rods, and 60s muscle. Most of the shows are no restrictions at all so you get mini cooper's next to something halfway cool.

A traditional car get together could be a hit.

I'd be interested in a traditional event in SC. Some of these weekend events the European HAMBers have, like A-Bombers Old Style Weekend, with campouts look really fun.
