it's friday you ain't got no job. i got my new motor on the stand. and here are a couple pics from roseville rod and customs open house.
I fabbed up the wiring harness for my headlights. Tomorrow is "Hot Rods at the Beach" here in Santa Cruz. Usually a couple hundred cars, but never more than a half dozen real hot rods. I go anyway, it beats mowin' the lawn.
Welding sloper chop. Doing slanted b pillars, with rounded corners and making it all look "factory" is time consuming!
Damn, what have I been doing at work since 2:30 this afternoon? I did spend a bit of time cleaning the garage and working on my roommate's Jeep today. Got to get the Jeep done to get my A back in the garage Nice car, Detonator! Tim D.
found a 47 flathead, complete front suspension with juice brakes, banjo rear, 3spd, F100 steering for $500 and going to cruisin the coast tomorrow
Played hookey from work so I could finish my new motor plate for the dragster. The I finihsed up some front end parts for my buddy's '55 Ford g***er. Then I met him up at the surplus machinery dealer - while there I got a super deal on a Keller electric hand shear (nibbler) it's real heavy duty. So all in all it was a KILLER day.
Took my wife to dinner and over to the shop, while she played pinball I dug around, found and re-installed the garnish moldings and inside handles on the '52 (So I don't loose them). I managed to find the last face full of mouse **** while tugging out the remnants of the headliner, took me half a budlite to get the taste to go away. Maybe I'll find a few hours tomorrow. s.
Hello All..OOPS ..forgot about the Open House.. Well, this is what I just finished for a friend..392 Hemi..4x2.. duane...
I pulled the grill and bumper off of a 56 buick super and shanged the fuel filter on my buddies 94 taurus
Brought a 31 A grille shell with me to work to try out my new hammer/dolly kit on a few dents. Ended up making more dents and damaging the finish. So I guess I didn't get anything done.
nice! i might have to make it out to that! as for myself, i didnt get a god damn thing done on the '54... -j
Got my shocks tuned in and lifted the rear end up one inch. Now the axel housing doesn't slam the frame every time I hit the smallest pot hole.
