I've been shopping for a 37 or 38 Chevy coupe for awhile. Seen a fair amount of them for sale. Looking for something to start a project with. Looking for a really good starting point. Maybe an original car or a finished car that needs some updates. No big time street rods

Long story short I've seen something on Gateway Cl***ics. Let me be clear, I won't go near a Gateway Cl***ics and I'm not interested in doing business with them and I'll leave it at that. However, knowing what I know about that business there is an owner out there who owns this car I'm interested in and I thought maybe about using the power of the HAMB to find that seller. Obviously, they are under contract to sell that care with Gateway for likely a 90-day period. I'm just interested in finding that buyer and having a conversation about that car AFTER their contractual period expires.

With that said, 1937 Chevy coupe in New Braunfels Gateway Cl***ics. Black with black and red interior. Missing the running boards. Looks like it's possible the original straight axle under the car. 9" Ford rear on what looks like a Ch***is Engineering rear leaf kit. Small block Chevy, 4-speed Muncie with AC/Heat. Anybody know this car. I could always grab some pictures from the website and post them but didn't know if what I was asking was frowned upon.

    Thanks in advance,

Don't understand why you "won't go near Gateway" unless you don't want to pay their add on fee.
I sold a car through them a few years back and was entirely satisfied with the service.

Glad it worked out well for you. I just choose not to shop there.

However, that's the car. If anyone knows the owner point em my way when he gets out from under his contract. I'd appreciate the help. Thanks HAMB.
