    Can someone give me the widest width of a buick 53 bezel headlight?

    Greetings from Arizona - On the Mexican border.

    This is a 1953 Buick Bezel (the 1954 bezel looks a little different). It is "frenched" into the fender of my custom 1962 Volvo PV544. I had some difficulty getting this picture (needed a 3rd hand...) - it has some distortion due to the closeness of the camera (cell phone). Due to the depth of the recess, I could not get an accurate measure. The maximum width is "estimated" to be 9-1/4 inch to 9-1/2 inch. Hopefully, someone will be able to take a more precise measurement.

    It is surprising that we are removed your construction of your volvo! I do not understand.. mine is French! curious.. (well.. mine was originally drawn by the Americans.. even before the mercury 49!!! project failed sold to france! :D )

    Yep, measured mine at 9 3/8 inches.
