Scored this 1953 Buick Special 40, mild custom in central California, and had it shipped to me in Nebraska. The guy hadn't owned it long, and said it was built in northern California, around 10 years ago. If anyone knows anything about the history of this car, let me know. It has a SBC 350/350TH swap, a 1963 Chevy car front and rear ends, and has been shaved of all emblems, bumpers smoothed, shaved handles, and painted a '96 Chysler Orchid Pearl. It still has the stock dash, smoothed column, and drum brakes. I added the hubcap bullets, headlight cat eyes, relocated the plate and light from under the rear bumper to up on it, and removed the Dynaflow shifter arm mount from the steering column. There will be an engine painting, and tons of chrome added under the hood.
