    Hi,

As I am almost done with the restoration, I need to decide about the interior upholstry color and material, what I would like is to make it two color just like the car colors, a variety of " Pea**** Blue and Colonial White " but both in leather, I am trying to find some pictures about it, for the two tone color in leather and the s***ching, I would be glad if you could help me out with some pictures of the interior two tone leather upholstry, so that I can decide how to move on, thanks.

I took several pictures at the '54 Ford convention I went to several years ago in Fredericksburg, TX that might help. I don't think any of them are leather though. DSC03569.JPG DSC03571.JPG DSC03573.JPG DSC03574.JPG DSC03576.JPG DSC03571.JPG DSC03569.JPG

We ended up doing an authentic restoration and bought the fabric from SMS.

    Or go totally non-stock.

Thanks, door and rear seat side panels are stock replacements. The front arm rests in Pea**** came from Larry’s Thunderbird.
Our white is Marine vinyl, closest color to the stk door panels I could find in the samples, it was recommended by the upholstery shop that only did the seats and package tray.

The rear seat pattern is Sunliner only. The Crown Vic is similar but not the same at the outside at the arm rest.

I prefer sitting on cloth and not vinyl or leather because of how it looks when I’m not in it. The pleats are 2-1/2”.
Stock bottoms and backs have a 45* seam on the corners and I specified that I did not want that; you can see the bottom front white is an all one piece as is the back seat. The front seat photo looks like the p***enger front seat bottom and back panels don’t line up but it’s the photo… they are perfect.

I originally wanted a little more padding/foam under-the white to look more like individual seats but without a total seat structure rebuild it would have been a little too much. I did have the guy add extra springs under mine as long as he could guarantee it would look like it when no one was in the car.

The stock Victoria has a very high back seat where the Sunliner and Crown Vic have the full chrome Vee and a lower seat back. The stock pattern hides this pretty well but you can see how much taller the rear pleats are over the front seats on ours. Without finding a complete CV rear seat back, chrome strip and the front backs with the step your kinda stuck. Sometime you just need to stop at some point. I was not willing to spend $5-6K+ on seats. The pea**** cloth from SMS was $160 a yard when I bought it for the guy doing the work. I have no idea what it is now.

It’s been in the car 6 years and we use the car every weekend as we live in SoCal and have rear weather.

I think the 50sBoy wagon also has a great design similar to the 59 Ford Galaxie 500’s.

    Good luck.

Stock was embossed, not s***ched, rectangles in vinyl or flat broadcloth. The door panels matched the embossed rectangles..
