Hello all and congrats on having one of the most interesting (to me) forums on the internets!
I can't tell you how many hours I've already spent perusing the boards!

I was an auto mechanic from the late 70s, into the 1990s.
After that, I got into airbrushing and custom painting.
Painting everything from shirts, wall art, murals to bikes and hot rods.
(some of my "drag classics" paintings below)

In the late 1990s and early 2000s I hooked up with a couple of custom builders and did the show tour circuit.
I also built some turn key Model As street rods for a company that sold kits.
(me in the pic below with the last '31 I****embled)

Now at 65, I'm celebrating grandkids and focusing on computer graphic design and creating tabletop games.
In fact, thats what originally got me to this forum...
I needed reference photos for art design in one of my tabletop game ideas.
(hot rod designs/game cards I created below)

I created a board/card game for fans of classic drag racing, but I am in the process of changing the game's name...and I'm here again looking for ideas.
I was going to post about the game - but didn't know exactly where - it comes dangerously close to being a "commercial" posting, which was not my intention.
(If I'm allowed to, I will give more information about my game.)

Is there a board where I might find words or phrases from the early days of drag racing?
Or are there suggestions for a catchy name?
Can I post about my game, or is that taboo?

Depends if you give a percentage to the person who invents the name for you.;)

haha well, a percentage of nothing is very very small.
and thats how much I make from selling tabletop games (to be honest)

    ...
I didn't just want to get ideas for an alternate name (for my game), I was hoping for feedback on the existing name of the game from those who don't understand where the name came from...those who are more focused on the subject matter (vintage hot rods and the like).
But to ask that question requires me to reveal the game and then it becomes something like commercial self-promotion, and so I tried to avoid that.

I appreciate that many forums are very careful about allowing anything that is in reality just a commercial post...and I'm not here specifically to promote my game.
So, I will try to abide by any rule that is in place.
