I resemble that statement! That picture is from 1975. The hair is gone.

I think I counted seven members that we know of who have since passed and now have the member emeritus status under their name, miss a lot of them

62 here. I find myself starting tasks like sweeping the floor and putting away tools only to get distracted doing something else only to get distracted by still another item and start doing something else altogether.
I guess I could go back to my old standard of just cleaning up the shop when the project is finished.

That’awesome poco, keep going! My Dad is going on 85 and still works on lawnmowers and tractors, I think he’s mentally sharper than I am.

I’ve got at least four years to my first social security check, but I get up each day, thank God for His mercy, and fight old age and death with every bone in my body. I know my end of time on this earth is inevitable, but I want to make it last a long time and be as enjoyable as possible.

Wow, good to see this is back up. I posted on it in Oct. 2016. Now I am 7 years older. Still playing with the old rides. But at 77 the work gets done a bit slower.

When I was a kid all the young guys had the cool cars and now that I’m retired it’s all us old farts that have the cool cars!
My cars are loud or so I’m told, but I like rolling up to the lead at a stop light with two or three cars in the other lane and watch the kids lose their shit, sometimes parents too, because of the old man and his car.

  20. LOL. Been there for 22 years!! Looking for another 10?
